Boswellia serrata is an Indian plant with analgesic and antiinflammatory properties (cf. double-blind placebo-controlled studies both in human and veterinary medicine: 5-lipoxygenase activity (leukotrienes)).
Ribes nigrum has a cortisone-like effect.
Origanum vulgare is an important antioxidant and has antibacterial / antiviral / antimycotic properties.
Viola tricolor is blood cleansing and antiinflammatory; contains gaultherine and methyl salicylate.
Spirea ulmaria contains salicylic acids known for their strong antiinflammatory and analgesic activity.
Aesculus contains aescine which stimulates the blood circulation and has antiinflammatory properties.
