Description of Springfield Regisense New Formula
*Contributes to the maintainance of a normal blood pressure
Regisense contains the lactotripeptides IPP and VPP, derived from cow's milk protein. These lactotripeptides consist of three amino acids: isoleucine-proline-proline (IPP) and valine-proline-proline (VPP). IPP and VPP naturally occure in fermented milk and aged cheese varieties. The tripeptides in Regisense are absorbed intact by the intestines.
Regisense contains 300 mg potassium (15% RDI) wich is an essential mineral for human physiology.
Casein is the major protein found in milk and cheese. Tripeptides are released from casein by fermentation. Both tripeptides IPP and VPP consist of 3 coupled amino acids. IPP stands for isoleucine-proline-proline and VPP represents valine-proline-proline. IPP and VPP are considered as functional lactopeptides. The lactotripeptide IPP is well absorbed.
